HOROSCOPES IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

It’s good that you are easygoing by nature but the message of the stars on your birthday is that you need to step up a gear or two in order to make the most of your talents. Set yourself targets that challenge you on every level.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

Try to avoid people who have a tendency to get aggressive if you disagree with them. The fact is you won’t change their views and they won’t change your views, so why waste time arguing over issues that cannot be resolved?

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

Cosmic activity in the wealth area of your chart means you need to be extra careful when dealing with money, both your own and other people’s. You may be a trusting sort by nature but you cannot afford to take chances.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

Might rarely makes right and this is one of those occasions when if you try to force others to do your bidding they will surely rebel. Have you thought about asking them nicely instead? It might work better than confrontation.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

Don’t try to twist the facts or exaggerate your own importance over the next 24 hours. If recent events did not work out as well as you had hoped you don’t have to make excuses – no one expects you to be perfect.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

It’s time to knuckle down and create something of value that benefits other people as much as it benefits you personally. Anyone who tries to talk you out of your plans must be ignored – they are simply jealous of your ambitions.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

If rivals and competitors get the impression that you won’t fight back when they give you a hard time then, of course, you must expect to be kicked around a bit. The message of the stars is you need to stand up for yourself.

Missed one of your horoscopes? Here are the most recent days’ forecasts

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

The fact that you don’t see eye-to-eye with everyone you have dealings with is actually a good thing. It means you are less likely to be lulled into a false sense of security and let them get away with decisions that could harm you.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

The approaching new moon indicates that you could make some serious money over the next few days. However, with Mercury in its retrograde phase you must make sure that your decisions are based on fact and not on wishful thinking.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

It may be wise to let a partner or loved one have their way over the next 24 hours, even if you profoundly disagree with what they are doing. Keep your distance though so you don’t get tarnished by their inevitable failure.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

The more you try to hide your feelings the more some people will try to wind you up and get you to overreact. A better course of action by far would be to admit that certain issues have got to you on an emotional level.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

A can-do attitude is an absolute must. There are so many ways in which you can improve your life now but if you allow more negative types to persuade you that taking risks is best avoided you will fall short of your true potential.

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

Cosmic activity in the career area of your chart will bring challenges and opportunities in equal measure over the next few days but Sunday’s new moon is by far the main event – and you can and should be the main attraction.
