Good news regarding Edoardo Bove’s condition following the collapse witnessed during Fiorentina-Inter on Sunday night.

The Fiorentina midfielder – on loan from Roma – felt unwell during the match against Inter, which was suspended in the 17th minute.

With the game stopped after a goal disallowed for Lautaro Martinez, Bove collapsed to the ground alone while he was tying his shoes.

He was immediately taken to Careggi Hospital, where he spent the night resting well.

He is currently awake and lucid, reports Sky Sport.

Bove rested well during the night, which he spent in the hospital, where he was admitted to intensive care and under pharmacological sedation.

He was extubated in the morning.

He is currently awake and lucid, and is answering questions.

Neurological and cardiac damage have been ruled out.
