Tom Hall, well known to cricketers throughout the county for his involvement at Brockhampton and now Colwall, joins as our new Communities Director.
Meanwhile, Kate Dawe, who has had a long association with Eastnor CC, is the county’s new Schools Director.
Finally, Graham Andrews, a former Herefordshire Councillor and currently chairman at Hinton FC, is the county’s new EDI director.
In other decisions made Nick Nenadich, who was previously school’s director, steps up to become Herefordshire Cricket president.
Meanwhile, Dave Phillips, who has been compelled by ill-health to step down from the chairman’s and finance director’s roles, has been appointed honorary vice-president.
Matt Slocombe and Gemma Davies have also stepped down from the board due to the pressure of other commitments.
“We’re delighted to have Kate, Tom and Graham on our board and look forward to the benefits that their knowledge, skills and enthusiasm will bring to us,” said HCL chairman Richard Prime.
“It’s also great that Nick and Dave will continue to be involved with the game in the county after already both giving so much over the years.
“We’re sorry to lose Gemma and Matt but thank them for their contributions and wish them both well.”
Meanwhile, Westfields threw away a valuable three points last week when they allowed visiting Brimscombe and Thrupp to snatch a point from a 2-2 draw at allpay.park.
After the interval Cawley Cox scored two fine solo goals to put Westfields into a commanding lead.
However, then Brimscombe and Thrupp hit back capitalising on poor defending after Cam Davies had been sent off for two yellow cards.
In the 89th minute Joe Stokes got on the end of a right wing cross to riffle home and give the visitors a big lift.
Then in injury time the visitors got a dramatic equaliser when Kyle Witt was on the spot when Westfields failed to deal with a right wing cross.
Fields had to settle for a point when they had led comfortably with just minutes to go , and paid dearly for being reduced to 10 men late in the second half.
