Senior forward Payton Sandfort had a rough go of it for much of Saturday inside the Crisler Center. The 6-foot-8, 215 pound forward misfired on all nine of his field goal attempts in the first half, including four from beyond the arc.

But, Sandfort found the touch in the second half, connecting on 6-of-11 from the floor, including 4-of-6 from 3-point range.

Sandfort helped Iowa storm back with a trio of 3-pointers in the game’s final 6:06. That included a pair of 3-pointers in the game’s final 1:42 and the game-tying trey with 20 seconds remaining.

If Sandfort connects on a couple in the first half, Iowa likely wins this game at Michigan.
