However, the opposite happened, with technology paving the way for India’s IT boom. Today, Karnataka alone contributes ₹4.2 lakh crore in IT exports annually, driving nation-building and elevating living standards. He believes AI will follow a similar path—being disruptive at first but ultimately opening up avenues for new kinds of jobs.
