Rams second-year receiver Puka Nacua had another terrific game in Sunday’s 44-42 victory over the Bills, helping power the club to a 7-6 record with four games left on the schedule.
Nacua caught 12 passes for 162 yards with a touchdown and also had five carries for 16 yards with a TD, giving him a season-high 178 yards from scrimmage.
In his postgame press conference, head coach Sean McVay said Nacua “was such an igniter today.”
“He was awesome,” McVay said. “He’s so physically and mentally tough. [I] love him.
“Igniter is one of the biggest compliments I can give somebody. You elevate everybody around you, you bring an energy to this football team, and he certainly did that today.”
Though Nacua missed several weeks with a knee injury earlier this season, he’s now recorded 54 matches for 708 yards with three touchdowns in eight games. He’s had at least 100 yards in four games in 2024.
