Lemieux and the Carolina Hurricanes mutually agreed to terminate his contract this past week. Now, he has officially found his new home with HC Davos and will look to make an impact with the Swiss club from here.

Lemieux last played at the NHL level this past season, where he had three goals, two assists, and 64 penalty minutes in 32 games with the Hurricanes. He spent this season with their AHL affiliate, the Chicago Wolves, where he had two goals in 12 games.

Lemieux’s time with the Flyers was short. After being acquired from the LA Kings, he only spent the final portion of the 2022-23 campaign in Philly. In 18 games as a Flyer, Lemieux had two goals and six points.
