Ruben Loftus-Cheek will replace the injured Christian Pulisic for Milan in a Champions League match against Crvena Zvezda, while Davide Calabria is expected to start as a right-back.
It kicks off at 21:00 CET (19:00 GMT) at San Siro.
Pulisic sustained a calf injury during the latest Serie A match against Atalanta and is expected to remain out of action for a few weeks.
The likes of Alessandro Florenzi, Ismael Bennacer and Noah Okafor are also unavailable for Milan. Luka Jovic is not on their UEFA list.
Fonseca said on Tuesday that Loftus-Cheek would replace Pulisic as Milan’s attacking midfielder this evening.
Matteo Gabbia and Malick Thiaw will start as centre-backs, joining Calabria and Theo Hernandez in the Rossoneri’s defence.
Yunus Musah will likely start for the second time in a row as a right winger. Youssouf Fofana and Tijjani Reijnders are irreplaceable in the middle of the park.
