For Virgin Australia, this marks a major milestone after being unable to offer long-haul flights for over four years. With 28 new weekly services to Doha, passengers will gain access to more than 100 destinations worldwide through Qatar Airways’ extensive network.
This partnership with Qatar Airways ensures the highest standard of global travel, offering seamless connections and premium service, while boosting market competition and providing better fares. Traveling the world has never been more accessible.
The new flights to Doha also benefit small businesses, especially in the agricultural sector, by opening up new export opportunities to the Middle East. Additionally, the increased tourism is expected to contribute $3 billion in economic value over the next five years, creating jobs and driving growth in Australia’s travel and tourism industry.
This partnership is integral to Virgin Australia’s long-term strategy, reinforcing its competitive edge and supporting the overall growth of the aviation industry in Australia.
