The Falcons announced a couple of changes to their offensive backfield on Wednesday.
Running back Jase McClellan has been placed on injured reserve with a knee injury. The Falcons signed Carlos Washington Jr. off of the practice squad to replace him on the active roster.
McClellan last appeared in a game on November 17 when he ran eight times for 15 yards in a loss to the Broncos. The sixth-round pick also had five carries for 17 yards in an October loss to the Seahawks.
Washington has been on the Atlanta practice squad for the last two seasons and has not appeared in a regular season game.
Bijan Robinson and Tyler Allgeier remain the top two backs in Atlanta.
