The Historically Black College and University (HBCU) postseason college football game features the two teams as MEAC and SWAC division winners. South Carolina State throttled Jackson State when the teams faced each other in the 2021 Cricket Celebration Bowl. Now they are gearing up for a rematch.

This year’s bowl game will be held at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Ga, the seventh time that the Celebration Bowl has been played at this sporting venue.
