Bills cancel practice, meet virtually due to weather

Date:

The Bills will not be practicing as scheduled on Thursday.

Buffalo is being hit by a major winter storm and the team announced that they have canceled practice. The team will be holding meetings virtually instead.

There are a number of road closures, travel bans and travel advisories in Buffalo and the surrounding areas, which could have made it difficult for everyone to get into the facility to practice if the Bills had decided to move forward as planned.

The Bills only held a walkthrough practice on Wednesday, so Friday’s workout will be a significant one in terms of injury updates. The team will be headed to Detroit to face the Lions on Sunday.
