Manu Koné continues to be an unstoppable force for Roma.
The French midfielder – acquired on a permanent deal from Borussia ‘Gladbach this past summer – is turning out to be one of the best signings in Serie A.
Despite a historically bad start to the season for Roma, Koné is one of the few players to have always shown the consistency that the rest of the team lacked for weeks, and even months.
Earlier tonight, Koné was once again at the center of Roma’s line-up, paired with Niccolo Pisilli in the midfield as Roma battled against Sporting Braga.
The numbers tell the story: Koné finished the night with 1 assist and a total of 7 key passes – the most out of any player on the pitch.
The Frenchman’s passing was also stellar: 46 out of 51 passes were successful.
On the defensive end, Koné was tireless, ending the match with 6 ball recoveries.
