Despite not making the top-10, there’s obviously a strong argument that Mohamed Salah should be considered the Premier League’s Player of the Season so far, with 22 goals and assists in 15 games in the league alone.

Yet the first half of Salah’s 2024 was less impressive. He did rack up nine goal contributions in 13 games, but he missed a number of other games through injury.

Plus, five of those nine goals and assists were in his first two games of the year. After that, he went on a bit of a drought by his standards.

Saka has been more consistent throughout 2024, even if Salah’s level is arguably higher in this season alone.

We can only hope the two players start 2025 the same way they both started 2024. If that happens, Arsenal would have a genuine chance at catching Liverpool before the season’s end.
