A motorcyclist died at a hospital after falling off a Spaghetti Bowl bridge into a reservoir below the freeway interchange earlier this month, El Paso police officials said on Tuesday, Dec. 17.
Tyler Christopher Jones, 28, of Central El Paso, was mortally injured in a 47-foot fall off Ramp K, which connects U.S. 54 south to Interstate 10 West, on the night of Dec. 3, police said.
About 9:40 p.m., police responded to a motorcycle crash on the Spaghetti Bowl ramp and located Jones down in the reservoir.

An investigation by the Special Traffic Investigations Unit determined that Jones was riding a 2022 Husqvarna Svartpilen motorcycle southbound on the Patriot Freeway (U.S. 54) when he took the turn to go to I-10 West, a police news release stated.
Jones lost control on the curve, hit the side concrete barrier and fell into the reservoir, police said.
