No. 16 Tennessee won 92-67 against Richmond (9-3) on Friday, led by Talaysia Cooper’s 24 points. The redshirt sophomore guard shot 10-for-18 from the field and added five steals, one rebound and one assist.
The Lady Vols (10-0) scored 26 points off 17 Richmond turnovers and won the battle on the boards 37-28. It wasn’t their best shooting day from behind the arc, only going 9-for-31, but they shot 51.4% from the field overall.

Lady Vols vs Richmond predictions
Tennessee 84, Richmond 68: Don’t write off this matchup as an easy win because the opponent is a mid-major. The Spiders lost to Texas by only 11 points, and they’ve destroyed other solid mid-major competition this season. Richmond’s defense will be a challenge and Tennessee may not dominate this game like it wants to, but the Lady Vols will come out on top to stay undefeated.
