A.J. Brown set to play vs. Commanders, Bryce Huff ruled out

Date:

Earlier on Friday, Eagles receiver A.J. Brown said, “I’m playing,” when reporters asked about the knee injury that was added to Thursday’s practice report.

Now, Friday’s injury report echoes Brown’s assessment.

Brown has no game status for Sunday’s game against Washington and is expected to play.

Brown was limited in practice on Thursday and Friday. He has recorded 56 catches for 946 yards with five touchdowns.

The Eagles will not activate defensive end Bryce Huff off of injured reserve this weekend, as he’s been ruled out with his wrist injury. Huff was limited in practice all week.

Receiver Britain Covey (neck) is also out, despite being a full participant in practice this week.

Safety Sydney Brown (concussion) is questionable. He didn’t practice Wednesday, was limited on Thursday, and was a full participant on Friday.

Quarterback Jalen Hurts (left finger), receiver DeVonta Smith, and guard Landon Dickerson (knee/rest) are all off the report and are set to play.
