Gabriel Jesus must have something against Crystal Palace, the Arsenal forward can not stop scoring against them.
The Brazilian came off the bench to bag a second-half hat-trick against the Eagles in the EFL Cup this week, and he’s back on the scoresheet with two more in the Premier League this evening.
Jesus had been ice-cold in the Premier League this season, coming into the weekend without a goal to his name.
But after bagging three against Palace at the Emirates during the week, Mikel Arteta rewarded the striker with a start in the league.
Mikel Arteta on Jesus starting: βItβs quite easy, the way he performed the other day, the way he scored his goals, the confidence he brought to the team as well. He deserves to play again.β [Sky]

Jesus has clearly repaid his manager’s faith, scoring two goals in the first 15 minutes at Selhurst Park Saturday evening, each goal on either side of anΒ IsmaΓ―la Sarr strike.
The former Manchester City man has now scored more Premier League goals in 14 minutes against Crystal Palace this evening than in his previous 28 league games combined.
Surely he won’t score back-to-back hat-tricks against the same opponent in consecutive games…right?
