Lamar Jackson, Derrick Henry power Ravens over the Steelers, into the playoffs

Date:

The Ravens are in the postseason, punching their ticket with a convincing 34-17 victory over the Steelers. The question is: Can they win the division title?

Both teams are 10-5 after the Steelers missed on a chance to clinch the AFC North on Saturday. The Steelers, who have lost three of their past five games, close out the regular season against the Chiefs and Bengals, while the Ravens play the Texans and Browns.

Russell Wilson had two costly turnovers, losing a fumble in the red zone and throwing a pick-six. His first-half turnover at the end of a 19-yard run, which was forced by Ar’Darius Washington and recovered by Kyle Van Noy, prevented Pittsburgh from taking the lead in a game it never led. Marlon Humphrey’s 37-yard interception return with 13:06 left iced the game for the Ravens.

The Ravens recovered all three of their fumbles, and their only turnover was Lamar Jackson’s interception in the red zone that preceded Humphrey’s interception return for a touchdown and a 31-17 lead.

Jackson threw three touchdown passes and Derrick Henry ran for 162 yards on 24 carries to carry the Ravens to victory. Jackson’s touchdown throws covered 9 yards to Isaiah Likely, 14 yards to Rashod Bateman and 7 yards to Mark Andrews.

Jackson was 15-of-23 for 207 yards with a 115.4 passer rating. Zay Flowers caught five passes for 100 yards.

The Ravens outgained the Steelers 418 to 315.

Wilson was 22-of-33 for 217 yards with two touchdowns and the pick-six. He threw a 1-yard touchdown pass to MyCole Pruitt and a 12-yarder to Cordarrelle Patterson.
