LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The student manager for the Trojans men’s basketball team has died in a crash, according to a UA Little Rock official.
A release states that student manager Josh Claxton died in an early morning crash on Saturday.

Because of the tragic event, the Little Rock Department of Athletics, the Eastern Illinois Department of Athletics, and the Ohio Valley Conference have decided to postpone Saturday’s game, which was scheduled for 3 p.m.
According to the release, efforts will be made to reschedule the matchup with Eastern Illinois for a later date.
UA Little Rock Athletic Director Frank Cuervo took to social media to shine a light on the gifts that Claxton brought to the Trojans men’s basketball team.
“Josh was a dedicated and integral member of the Trojan Basketball team, and his energy, positive spirit, and unwavering commitment to the team made a lasting impact on everyone he met,” Cuervo said. “He was not just a colleague but a true friend to many, and his presence will be deeply missed.”
“On behalf of the entire Little Rock Department of Athletics, I extend our heartfelt condolences to Josh’s parents, family, and friends,” Cuervo continued. “Josh embodied the values of what it means to be a Trojan.”
