The Biggest B2C Travel and Tourism Initiative with a focus on Local to Global – Indians Traveling Like Never Before. The festival celebrates the spirit of exploration that is transforming India into a global tourism powerhouse. With millions of Indians embarking on journeys, both domestic and international, the festival will showcase the thriving travel ecosystem, offering immersive experiences and unprecedented opportunities for travellers and industry stakeholders.

New Delhi: TV9 Network and Red Hat Communications unveiled the World Travel and Tourism Festival, India’s largest B2C travel and tourism event, at the Suryaa Hotel in the New Friends Colony today (December 20).

With aspirations soaring high and incomes rising, millions of Indian travellers are embracing their wanderlust and venturing into uncharted territories. This transformative journey of Indians from local to global is set to take centre stage at the World Travel and Tourism Festival, a one-of-its-kind initiative by TV9 Network and Redhat Communications.

Scheduled to take place from February 14 to 16, 2025, at the Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium, India Gate, the festival aims to celebrate the spirit of travel and tourism by bringing together all stakeholders under one roof.

Spanning over 45,000 sq. ft., the festival promises an unmatched immersive experience with personalized travel consultations, expert-led travel talks, cultural performances, a food and cuisine zone, a travel tech showcase, competitions, and much more.

“Travel is no longer a luxury; it is a lifestyle, a necessity for the curious and connected Indian. The festival will also feature an Awards Ceremony to honour the most innovative and impactful inbound and outbound travel and tour operators. Adding to the excitement is a music concert by a top singing sensation on Valentine’s Day, promising an evening of soulful melodies for over 5,000 attendees.

Jyoti Mayal, CEO of Redhat Communications, emphasized the importance of the event in shaping the future of the travel industry. “The World Travel and Tourism Festival is a convergence of dreams, destinations, and opportunities. The host for the evening curtain-raiser, Mr Greesh Bindra – Executive Vice President, The Suryaa New Delhi, appreciated the initiative of bringing all stakeholders of the travel and tourism ecosystem under one roof and connecting them to the aspirational consumer. “We have been part of many B2B connects over the years but this is the first time when the industry will get to interface with the consumers directly. It’s a great platform for the sector to spot new travel trends, coming directly from the new-age traveller. We are happy to be part of this initiative,” he said. He added that in the festive season, The Suryaa New Delhi too has launched a one-of-a-kind coffee festival where the hotel has brought together exquisite coffee blends from around the world for guests to experience and enjoy till December 30.
