BOYS BASKETBALL
Kanyon Taylor, Valley
In a win against Fort Elliott, Taylor finished with 22 points, eight rebounds, seven blocks and a steal while shooting 75% from the field en route to eclipsing 1,000 career points.
Payton Inman, Hedley
Inman scored 17 points against Lefors, followed by a 19-point outing against Shamrock that also saw the freshman record seven rebounds, three assists, a block and a steal.
Connor Miller, Canadian
Miller notched 24 points, nine rebounds and three assists in the Wildcats’ win against Clarendon, going 6-for-6 from the free throw line.
Avaun Garcia, Perryton
Garcia finished with 25 points in a game against Canyon.
Jordan Webber, Canyon
Webber led the Eagles to a victory against Perryton with 30 points, then scored 20 points in a game against Randall.
Clayton Wilcox, Canyon
Wilcox chipped in 18 points in the Eagles’ matchup against Randall.
Tayesen Combs, Randall
Combs was the Raiders’ leading scorer in a win against Canyon, tallying 18 points.
Creed Barnes, Amarillo High
Barnes was the Sandies leading scorer in a win against Tascosa, finishing with 18 points.
Zach Brown, Amarillo High
Brown pitched in 15 points to the Sandies victory against Tascosa.
Hawkins Farris, Tascosa
Farris was the Rebels’ leading scorer in a cross-town rivalry game against Amarillo High, scoring 16 points.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
Madison Moore, Hedley
Moore scored 37 of the Lady Owls’ 39 points in a game against Lefors.
Alana Davis, Palo Duro
Davis was the Lady Dons’ leading scorer against Lubbock High, notching 17 points.
Natalia Tarango, Pringle-Morse
Tarango led Pringle-Morse to a win against Hartley with 35 points, nine rebounds and four assists.
Dehlilah Martin, Pringle-Morse
Martin notched a double-double in Pringle-Morse’s win against Hartley, finishing with 14 points, 14 rebounds, seven assists and five blocks.
