High school basketball fans have plenty of options in Northwest Arkansas when it comes to holiday tournaments.
Two basketball tournaments will be held in Benton County beginning Thursday at Pea Ridge and Gravette.
Other high school tournaments will be in Harrison, Berryville and in southwest Missouri.
In northeast Benton County, Pea Ridge will host the fourth annual Lady Blackhawk Holiday Invitational will tip off at 4 p.m. Thursday.
“Every year the field of teams is so good, and this year is no exception,” said Pea Ridge Coach Heath Neal. “Our community loves basketball, and we are proud of hosting this event during the holiday time.”
The slate of teams includes the previous three champions of the tournament. Pea Ridge won it in 2021, while Mammoth Spring won it in 2022 and Providence Academy captured the tournament last season.
