Zay Flowers officially active for Ravens in Houston

Date:

Reports on Wednesday morning indicated that wide receiver Zay Flowers would be in the Ravens lineup for their Christmas game against the Texans and the Ravens made it official 90 minutes ahead of kickoff in Houston.

Flowers will play despite the shoulder injury that caused him to be listed as out of practice on Sunday and Monday. Flowers, who leads the Ravens in catches and receiving yards, was limited on Tuesday and listed as questionable to play.

Wide receiver Nelson Agholor, cornerback Jalyn Armour-Davis, and running back Justice Hill were all ruled out on Tuesday. Safety Marcus Williams, linebacker Adisa Isaac, and center Nick Samac will also miss the game.

The Texans ruled out guard Shaq Mason, offensive lineman Juice Scruggs, and defensive lineman Foley Fatukasi. Wide receiver Diontae Johnson is inactive two days after being claimed off of waivers from the Ravens. Linebacker Devin White and edge rusher Jerry Hughes are also inactive.
