James Conner, Baron Browning questionable to play for Cardinals Saturday

Date:

The Cardinals may not have running back James Conner against the Rams on Sunday.

Conner is listed as questionable to play in the matchup of NFC East teams because of a knee injury. Conner has been listed as a limited participant in practice all three days this week.

Trey Benson is also listed as questionable due to an ankle injury, so the team may be especially thin as they try to play spoiler in the Rams’ push to sew up the NFC West title.

Linebacker Baron Browning and left guard Evan Brown round out the team’s questionable contingent. Both players have neck injuries and have been limited participants in practice this week.

Safety Joey Blount is the only active roster player that the Cardinals have ruled out. He injured his ribs against the Panthers in last Sunday’s loss. The Cardinals will also leave kicker Matt Prater and cornerback Elijah Jones on injured reserve.
