What to know: This represents Iowa’s first competition in nine days. The Hawkeyes were victors over UNI on Dec. 20, clinching the mythical state title for the third straight years.

Iowa has won eight straight games over Purdue, including a 96-71 victory last season at West Lafayette.

One of the Big Ten’s tradition-rich programs, the Boilermakers have managed just one winning conference record in the last six seasons.

Iowa’s Lucy Olsen leads the Big Ten in minutes per game (35.0), and is sixth in scoring (18.6 points per game). Addison O’Grady is the Big Ten leader in field-goal percentage (.679).

Purdue’s Destini Lombard ranks second in the league in steals (2.4 per game). Lombard paces the Boilermakers in scoring at 12.8 ppg.

Iowa is 0-1 in Big Ten play for the first time since 2019-20. The Hawkeyes haven’t started 0-2 since 2013-14.
