49ers regain lead on Brock Purdy’s third touchdown pass

Brock Purdy was credited with his third touchdown pass of the night, giving the 49ers a 28-21 lead over the Lions.

Purdy flipped the ball to Deebo Samuel, who ran the 5 yards to the end zone for the touchdown with 7:40 left in the third quarter. The 49ers have not trailed tonight.

They have 344 yards, with Purdy going 18-of-21 for 279 yards. He has a maximum passer rating of 158.3.

The Lions had tied the game taking the second half kickoff and going 66 yards in 10 plays. The 49ers, though, regained the lead only 2:18 later.

Ricky Pearsall is over 100 yards, with five receptions for 102 yards and a touchdown. George Kittle has four catches for 67 yards.
