Indiana State Police, local law enforcement presence reported in New Albany. What we know

A large police presence is staged near the 1800 block of East Market Street in downtown New Albany, Chief Todd Bailey confirmed to The Courier Journal Friday.

“Indiana State Police and local law enforcement have an operation ongoing in the area,” Bailey wrote in an email, but could not offer further details.
