The TGL’s inaugural season is here.
The indoor simulator league, backed by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy’s TMRW Sports, debuts Tuesday, Jan. 7, in prime time on ESPN and ESPN+ in the U.S. TGL stands for Tomorrow’s Golf League.
The six-team league of PGA Tour pros will compete in teams within the custom-built SoFi Center, a 250,000-square-foot venue on the campus of Palm Beach State College in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
Each week, three golfers from the four-player rosters will compete head-to-head. The top-four teams after the regular season will advance to the playoffs.
TGL preview show, ESPN on-air crew
The league announced a one-hour season preview show will be on ABC on Sunday, Jan. 5, at 2 p.m. ET.
During the season, ESPN’s Matt Berry, tabbed as play-by-play host for the TGL 2025 season, will be on site to co-anchor SportsCenter at 2 p.m. ET to preview that week’s matchup.
Scott Van Pelt will be the host and Marty Smith will report during each ESPN telecast.

How long is the TGL season?
There will be 15 regular season matches followed by the playoffs, culminating with the top two teams squaring off in the SoFi Cup, a best-of-three Finals Series on Monday, March 24, and Tuesday, March 25.
