Video Transcript

What’s up y’all?

Welcome back to the playlist.

It’s week 11 in fantasy basketball.

Gonna wrap up week 10 real quick.

Nikole Jokic once again dominating fantasy basketball.

It doesn’t matter the league.

He was the top points getter as well as the top player in 9 cat leagues this week.

But I wanna give a surprise shout out to CJ McCollum, a guy that tied his career high at 50 points and also finished in the top 15.

In 9 cat leagues after a monstrous week 10, probably won a lot of fancy managers their week.

Anthony Edwards went for a career high 53 versus the Pistons, but right before that game happened, we lost Jay and Ivy for what looks to be a considerable amount of time, which is gonna be a huge blow for fantasy managers, but opportunity for other players.

I’ll go into more into that later.

And then lastly, what’s up with Jimmy Butler?

Is it gonna get Traded.

The Miami Heat have already suspended him for 7 games.

Who knows how much longer that could be or how much that will last, or if the Miami Heat can actually fish his wish and get him traded to another destination.

But let’s get to the pickups.

First pickup, I’m making is Ryan Dunn of the Phoenix Suns.

Chris Haynes came out late on Sunday night that the Phoenix Suns, after losing 4 games straight, they’re gonna be making some changes.

One of those changes is moving Bradley Beal to the.

Bench that opens up an opportunity for Ryan Dunn, the rookie at a UVA, to step up and get some good minutes.

Probably gonna see anywhere between 20 and 30 minutes potentially.

That’s gonna be good enough to preserve his fancy value in a week where the Suns play 5 games.

They’re the only team that played 5 games, so get that, get that advantage over your league mates.

Also, I would add Asar Thompson, as I just mentioned, Jaden Ivey is gonna be missing a considerable amount of time.

Asar Thompson, just like his brother Amen, just stuffs the stat sheet.

This guy’s averaging over 1 fantasy point per minute this season, so when you bump that up to 20 to 30 minutes per game.

This guy’s gonna be doing a lot for points leagues, for his ability to grab rebounds, stocks, as well as score.

He’s also gonna be decent for for nine cat leagues if you can stomach that, that, uh, lack of 3 pointers and poor free.

Throw percentage.

And then lastly, you know, Jimmy’s gonna be out for 7 games, so someone’s got someone’s gotta get the minutes and the opportunity.

I think it’s gonna be Nikole Jovich.

Jovich has stepped up well for Jimmy Butler.

He’s averaging over 25 minutes per game with Butler off the floor, averaging over 22 fancy points per game.

I’ve really been impressed by his distribution over the last several games, getting over 5 assists in 3 of his last 5 games, as well as getting.

The the rebounds as well as shooting the ball well.

So I think this is gonna hold.

I like him better than Heywood Highsmith and Jaime Haquez and Duncan Robinson as well.

So prioritize Nikolaovich under 20% roster in Yahoo Leagues.

All right, let’s get to the schedule things you need to know.

The week 11 schedule is much like week 10.

It’s a really favorable schedule if you want to stream because there’s not one slate this week that’s more than 9 games.

First off though, if you’re gonna talk.

Target one team make it be the Phoenix Suns.

I would pick up Grayson Allen, Ryan Dunn, Mason Plumlee, who’s also entered the starting lineup replacing Yusuf Nurkic.

This is a great opportunity if you want to get those counting stats because they’re the only team that plays 5 games and uh have a really good start to the week with 3 games in 4 nights.

If you miss out on those Phoenix Suns, make sure you take a look at the Heat, Nikolaovich.

Duncan Robinson, etc.

um, the Mavericks, Quentin Grimes is another really good pickup as well as Spencer Dinwoodie if he’s still out there.

The Pistons, the Raptors, the Timberwolves, and the Trail Blazers.

All of those teams play 3 games in 4 nights to begin the week.

And then as the week goes on, you can kind of make some additional moves to kind of fill out the rest of the week depending on what categories or points you may need, uh, later.

The week and to close out the week if you’re looking for some uh last final push to kinda get you over the hump, take a look at the Hornets, take a look at the Jazz and take a look at the Spurs.

They play a Saturday, Sunday, back to back, which if you’re hunting those counting stats to catch up and maybe win the week, those are the teams that can help you playing that back to back to close it out.

All right, that’ll do it for the week 11 playlist.

I’ll see you in week 12.

Peace.
