Notre Dame Basketball: A Sprint of Official Visits Set this Fall

Date:

From September 5-7, Notre Dame will host four-star small forward and New Hampshire native, Ryder Frost, on an official visit.

At 6-foot-6, 205 pounds, the strengths of Frost’s game are his three-point shot and passing acumen, per his player evaluation on 247Sports. He shot 45 percent from beyond the ark in UAA play, per the same reporting. In the class composite rankings, Frost is listed as the No. 102 player, the No. 21 small forward, and the No. 2 player in New Hampshire.

According to a report from 247Sports national basketball recruiting analyst Dushawn London, Frost is down to a final eight schools, namely Notre Dame, Michigan, Syracuse, Yale, Iowa, Virginia Tech, Wisconsin, and Penn State.

In the piece, Frost did not clarify an official timeline but said he “could” commit in late September or early October. He also offered the following on Notre Dame in the reporting;

“I really think it’s a great opportunity with coach Shrewsberry there. They’ve really been in contact a lot. Coach Farrelly hit me during my school season and they’ve been consistent. I’m really confident in what they can do and it’s just a really good option.”

Frost will visit the Iowa Hawkeyes this week, from August 28-31. There are no logged crystal balls for his decision.
