Carlo Ancelotti admits Real Madrid need to find “solutions” following Las Palmas draw

Date:

It was another disappointing night for Real Madrid, as they were held to a 1-1 draw for the second successive away match. Las Palmas were more than worth their point in Gran Canaria, which will be of real concern to Carlo Ancelotti.

Ancelotti was very critical of his side when he spoke to the media post-match, as per Diario AS.

“I think the first half was bad. We struggled to find balance. I haven’t seen any improvement compared to Mallorca. We have to look for solutions and I think we will find them.

It was another disappointing night for Kylian Mbappe, who went without a goal for the third successive La Liga match. Ancelotti admitted that he needs to work out how to get the best out of the Frenchman, as well as the rest of his players.

“The team is not well-balanced, we are not quick in moving the ball, we have a hard time recovering it… We have to find a quick solution.”

Carlo Ancelotti will want to get through quickly to the international break, so that work can be done on the training ground. Before that, his Real Madrid side will face Real Betis on Sunday at the Santiago Bernabeu.
