HS GIRLS TENNIS: North Pocono keeps pace with unbeatens in Lackawanna League

Natalie Pagotto, Kara Erickson and Amaya Monacelli won their singles matches in straight sets to lead North Pocono to a 5-0 win over Scranton on Thursday in a Lackawanna League girls tennis match.

The Lady Trojans stayed undefeated with their fifth straight win.

At Delaware Valley, Noelle Holderith, Jessica Willson and Ceanna Williams swept the singles matches in a 5-0 win over Dunmore.

A battle between unbeatens Valley View and West Scranton halted with the teams tied at 2-2 overall. It will conclude Wednesday with the No. 2 singles match.

North Pocono 5, Scranton 0

Singles: Natalie Pagotto (NP) over Fran Huffman, 6-0, 6-0; Kara Erickson (NP) over Paige Dougherty, 6-0, 6-1; Amaya Monacelli (NP) over Rachel Ramirez, 6-0, 6-0.

Doubles: Ella Jardine-Anna Clementoni (NP) over Pal Patel-Vrunda Amin, 6-0, 6-1; Bella Forgione-Kayli McHugh (NP) over Sara Williams-Izzy Kaub, 6-1, 6-0.
