Marist Men’s Basketball’s Non-Conference Schedule Released – Marist College Athletics

POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist men’s basketball team’s non-conference schedule was released on Friday.
 
The Red Foxes will play a total of nine-conference games this season, with five taking place at McCann Arena. This will give Marist a total of 15 home games this season.
 
Here’s a closer look at each non-conference game:
 
Monday, Nov. 4 – at Harvard

  • This is Marist’s first trip to Harvard, and first time facing the Crimson, since Nov. 30, 1999.
  • Marist is 2-0 against Harvard all-time.

 
Saturday, Nov. 9 – at Richmond

  • This is the first meeting between the teams since Nov. 24, 2007, a 64-62 Marist win.
  • This is Marist’s first trip to Richmond since Dec. 2, 2006, an 80-73 Marist victory.
  • This is the sixth meeting between the teams all-time.

 
Friday, Nov. 15 – vs. Army West Point

  • This is Marist’s home opener.
  • This is the 23rd all-time meeting between the teams, the most of any team Marist has never shared a conference with.
  • The all-time series is tied, 11-11.
  • Marist opened the 2023-24 season with a 71-55 win at Army at Nov. 6.
  • This is Army’s first trip to Marist since Nov. 30, 2019.

 
Tuesday, Nov. 19 – vs. Dartmouth

  • Marist leads the all-time series, 6-2.
  • Marist has won five straight, including a 63-53 victory at Dartmouth on Dec. 9, 2023 when Josh Pascarelli scored a career-high 26 points.
  • This is Dartmouth’s first trip to Poughkeepsie since Nov. 17, 2015.

 
Saturday, Nov. 23 – vs. New Hampshire

  • This is the ninth all-time meeting between the teams.
  • This is New Hampshire’s first trip to Poughkeepsie since Dec. 19, 2018.

 
Saturday, Nov. 30 – at Lehigh

  • This is the ninth all-time meeting between the teams.
  • This is the third straight season the teams will meet.

 
Tuesday, Dec. 17 – at Stony Brook

  • This is the third meeting between the teams.
  • This is Marist’s first trip to Stony Brook, and first time facing the Seawolves, since Nov. 8, 2013.

 
Saturday, Dec. 21 – vs. UMBC

  • This is UMBC’s first trip to Poughkeepsie.
  • Marist won the first all-time meeting between the teams last season, a 65-59 triumph on Nov. 11.

 
Sunday, Dec. 29 – vs. Binghamton

  • This is the eighth all-time meeting between the teams.
  • This is the fifth straight season the teams will have met.

 
Additionally, games times have been set for all 15 of the Red Foxes’ home games. All Sunday games will tip off at 2 p.m. All Monday-Friday games will start at 7 p.m. For the Red Foxes’ four Saturday home games:

  • Saturday, Nov. 23 – New Hampshire, 2 p.m.
  • Saturday, Dec. 21 – UMBC, 1 p.m.
  • Saturday, Jan. 18 – Rider, 4 p.m.
  • Saturday, Feb. 8 – Iona, 7 p.m.
