Victor Osimhen has been in the transfer rumor mill since the start of this summer, but the deadline has come and gone, with the player still at Napoli. As a result, information as to why the player didn’t leave for Chelsea or Paris Saint-Germain is starting to surface.
There’s still the possibility he leaves for Saudi Arabia, but transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reported on Friday that there was no agreement with Chelsea, and the club’s delegation left Napoli without a deal in place.
Moreover, Romano reports that if nothing happens from Saudi Arabia in the next three days, Osimhen will remain at Napoli but won’t be part of the first-team squad. He adds that the relationship between the player and the club is currently completely broken.
