Roma maintain first clean sheet at Juventus since 2001 in latest draw

Date:

Roma have managed to record an important statistic tonight.

The Giallorossi faced Juventus on the third Serie A matchday, which resulted in a 0-0 draw at the Allianz Stadium in Turin.

This marked the first time Roma have kept a clean sheet in the Bianconeri’s home since September 29 in 2001.

That evening Roma won 2-0 with a free kick from Batistuta and a left footed shot under the crossbar from Marcos Assunçao.

In the last 23 years, 14 Roma goalkeepers had conceded 36 goals in the last 21 Serie A matches against Juventus in their stadium.
