Pitt Basketball Players Supporting Other Pitt Athletic Teams

Pitt’s basketball players have been out watching the other Pitt sports teams lately.

First came Saturday’s home football game against Kent State, which seemingly the entire team was in attendance for. The Pitt basketball social media channels posted photos of several team members in attendance on the sidelines for the football game, which Pitt won, 55-24.

Then, on Tuesday night, Pitt guard Jaland Lowe posted a photo to his Instagram showing that he was in attendance for the Pitt volleyball matchup against Buffalo. Dan Fisher’s Pitt Volleyball squad advanced to 3-0 on the season with the clean sweep of Buffalo at the Fitzgerald Field House in front of a packed crowd.

Lowe and the Panthers begin their own season on Nov. 4 against Radford. Pitt returns a core of Lowe and Ishmael Leggett in the back court, along with Zack Austin on the wing and the Diaz-Graham twins in the front court. The Panthers brought in transfers Damian Dunn and Cam Corhen this offseason, as well as freshmen Amsal Delalic, Brandin Cummings, and Amdy Ndiaye.
