The 2024 NFL season kicks off this week, and with that, fantasy football managers will be tasked with setting their lineups for the very first time! Love them or hate them, fantasy defenses are a part of the equation in most leagues.

Week 1 is always a particularly intriguing opportunity for fantasy managers to scout defenses around the league. Bengals-Patriots is tied for one of the lowest point totals on the week (40.5), with the Bengals favored by a whopping nine points.
