Scott McTominay could start Napoli’s next Serie A game

Date:

Serie A giants Napoli have signed Scott McTominay from Manchester United and while he is currently on international break with Scotland, there is some news about the Partenopei.

Corierre  del Mezzogiorno have reported that (via TuttoNapoli) that several new signings could start for Antonio Conte in their upcoming game against Cagliari.

McTominay could be one of those and there is a possibility that Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa be on the bench for the game, with the ex-United man likely to be the one to replace him. Billy Gilmour could also be the player to do that but he was initially signed as a potential alternative to Stanislav Lobotka.

Both the players were late arrivals in the summer and fellow new signing David Neres has already made an impact, having assisted twice off the bench in his first two appearances. Romelu Lukaku has also scored on his debut, finding the back of the net against Parma.
