Fear mount at Real Madrid as key trio set for late return before Real Sociedad clash

Date:

Real Madrid are currently dealing with a worrying number of injuries, which could result in up to nine players being unavailable for their upcoming match on Saturday, 14th September, against Real Sociedad in San Sebastian.

While this is a serious issue for the team, it is not the only challenge facing Carlo Ancelotti.

According to Mundo Deportivo, the Brazilian trio of Vinicius, Rodrygo, and Endrick, who are key players for the club, will not return to club duties until Thursday at the earliest.

This is just two days before the Real Sociedad match, leaving the Italian coach with very little time to prepare them.

The trio is currently on international duty, with Brazil playing Paraguay on Wednesday. Once the match is over, they will make their way back to Madrid.

Little time to recover and training

Their late arrival means they will barely have time to recover and get back into form before the crucial match against Real Sociedad.

Ancelotti had initially hoped to give his international players some much-needed rest after their national team duties.

However, with the current injury crisis within the squad, this has become an almost impossible task. The coach will have to rely on these players despite his concerns over fatigue.

On the brighter side, Jude Bellingham, who has been out since 23rd August due to injury, might be ready to return for the Real Sociedad match. His presence would be a significant boost for the team, as the English midfielder is a vital part of Ancelotti’s plans.

However, the club is cautious about rushing Bellingham’s return, as they do not want to risk further injury or a potential relapse. Balancing the need for key players while managing their fitness remains a tough task for the coach amid the injury crisis.
