Australia played three T20 matces against Scotland earlier in September, winning all three by scores of seven wickets, 70 runs and six wickets. Those wins helped Australia bounce back after losing its last two World Cup matches against Afghanistan and India.

England comes in off a series of tests againt Sri Lanka. The team won two of the three matchups, winning the first by five wickets and the second by 190 runs before Sri Lanka took an eight-wicket victory in the third contest.
