Legendary former Inter Milan, Lazio, and Serbia midfielder Dejan Stankovic turned 46 yesterday.
Stankovic spent ten years as an Inter player. He joined from Lazio in the summer of 2003, and left when he retired from playing in 2013.
Stankovic made a total of 326 appearances for the Nerazzurri during that decade. He scored 42 goals for the club.
And Stankovic won no shortage of trophies while with Inter.
The highlight of the Serb’s time at the Nerazzurri was undoubtedly helping the team to win the Treble of the Serie A title, Coppa Italia, and Champions League in 2010.
Stankovic started in that season’s Champions League final against Bayern Munich.
Inter took to Instagram to wish Stankovic a happy birthday.
