Blue Jays Roundup: Tennis gets a win Thursday

Sep. 12—JAMESTOWN — Thursday was a successful day at Bolinger Courts.

The Jamestown High School tennis team got a 6-3 win over Williston to move to 3-4 in the standings.

Jamestown won five out of the six singles matches. The Jays’ No 1 and 2 Luke LeFevre and Braxton Burkett teamed up to get the Jays’ lone doubles win.

Head coach Tim Ranum and his team is set to travel to Grand Forks on Friday to take on Red River at 9 a.m. and Central at noon. The team’s next conference match is scheduled to be held Sept. 16 at Bismarck Legacy.
