After the return of Warren Zaïre-Emery (18) to first-team training on Sunday, Paris Saint-Germain have been handed another boost with the return of Vitinha (24) on Monday.
Zaïre-Emery, like Vitinha, picked up an injury whilst on international duty. The midfielder was injured during France’s 3-1 defeat to Italy at the Parc des Princes and therefore missed the 3-1 victory over Stade Brestois on Saturday evening. However, the Frenchman returned on Sunday, and now Vitinha, who also missed that game, is back too, according to a report from L’Equipe.
The midfielder suffered an ankle injury while with the Portugal national team, however, he was involved in first-team training at Le Campus on Monday. He is therefore in contention to be included in the matchday squad to face Girona in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday. A decision will be taken last minute by manager Luis Enrique. Gianluigi Donnarumma, who suffered a minor injury against Brest, is out.
