Bemidji tops Thief River Falls to retain undefeated record

Sep. 16—THIEF RIVER FALLS — Sixteen games into the season, the Bemidji High School girls tennis team has yet to taste defeat.

The Lumberjacks took to the road and defeated Thief River Falls 5-2 Monday afternoon, improving to 16-0.

Led by Lilly Caron and Megan Berg at No. 1, BHS swept all three doubles matches against the Prowlers.

Sam Wood and Ruby McKeon notched the win in No. 2 doubles, while Ava Myhre and Millie Knott secured victory at No. 3.

The Jacks split their singles matches with Thief River Falls in the win.

Liz Peterson bested Piper Green in three sets in No. 2 singles and Bailey Rupp defeated Jerlyn Lunsetter in a pair of 6-1 sets for the win at No. 3
