UWS’ Josef Fahrenholtz to play pro basketball in Norway

Date:

A University of Wisconsin-Superior (UWS) men’s basketball player is taking a literal Euro step. Josef Fahrenholtz has signed a contract to play professional basketball in Norway.

His squad, the Nidaros Jets of the Basketligaen Norge (BLNO), is also where fellow Yellowjacket alum Vid Milenkovic is signed to.

Fahrenholtz played 98 games for UWS from 2019-2024, logging over 2,000 minutes and 1,042 points.

The Jets, part of Norway’s first division, tipoff the 2024-2025 season Saturday taking on Gimle Basket at Trondheim Spektrum Stadium in Norway.
