That’s how many wins the Bemidji High School girls tennis team has without a loss this fall.
The Lumberjacks went on the road on Tuesday, picking up a 7-0 win over Little Falls and a 5-1 win over Pequot Lakes at the Patriots’ triangular. Bemidji’s match against Pequot Lakes was cut short due to darkness.
Elena Peterson went 2-0 at No. 1 singles, picking up a pair of wins in straight sets. Her sister, Liz Peterson, also won both of her matches in two sets. Bailey Rupp was the last singles player to go 2-0, winning at No. 3 singles against Pequot Lakes and at No. 4 singles against Little Falls.
Ava Myhre and Millie Knott teamed up for the lone BHS doubles win against Pequot Lakes, winning in the third slot 7-5, 4-3. Myhre and Ruby McKeon notched a three-set win at No. 2 doubles against Little Falls, while Knott and Zoe McNallan won in straight sets at No. 3 doubles.
