India vs Bangladesh Live Score, 1st Test Day 2: Akash Deep, Jasprit Bumrah leave Bangladesh reeling in Chennai

Date:

WICKET! Akash Deep is right on the money. Two in two for the pacer. He destroys Mominul Haque’s stumps. Akash Deep has struck again, and this time, he’s on the verge of a hat-trick! The young pacer maintained his impressive speed, clocking in at 139.3 km/h, as he delivered a ball that closely resembled his previous one, albeit slightly straighter. The pitch was full on off stump, and the ball darted back in sharply, catching Mominul Haque off guard.

Unable to get well forward, Mominul jabbed at the ball with rigid hands. The delivery managed to evade the inside edge, brushing the front pad before crashing into the stumps behind.

Mominul, unfortunately, had to depart without troubling the scorers, falling victim to a golden duck. Bangladesh now finds themselves in a precarious position early in their innings, thanks to the brilliance of Akash Deep.
