Connor McDavid is the highest rated player in NHL 25.

EA Sports NHL published the overalls of the top 299 players in NHL 25 on Wednesday, highlighting the top 10 centers.

McDavid has now been the highest rated or tied as the highest rated player in every game since NHL 18 when he was on the cover.

The top 10 centers are:

  1. Connor McDavid – 97

  2. Nathan MacKinnon – 96

  3. Leon Draisaitl – 95

  4. Auston Matthews – 95

  5. Sidney Crosby – 94

  6. Aleksander Barkov – 94

  7. Jack Hughes- 93

  8. Brayden Point – 92

  9. J.T. Miller – 92

  10. Jack Eichel – 91

  11. Sebastian Aho & Elias Pettersson – 91

McDavid and Nathan MacKinnon come in as the two highest rated players in the game, while Leon Draisaitl, Auston Matthews and Sidney Crosby are all top 10 players by overall.

Some attribute highlights among the centers are Matthews leading all players with 95 wrist shot power and Connor Bedard coming in second at 94. Steven Stamkos and Tage Thompson tie for the lead in slapshot power at 93.

McDavid leads all centers with 98 passing and 97 deking. The Oilers captain also leads with 97 acceleration, with MacKinnon and Roope Hintz tied for second at 95.

NHL 25 will be available on early access Sept. 27, and will be released in full on Oct. 4.
