Trump’s foray into politics began with a successful run for the White House in 2016. He then lost his bid for reelection in 2020 and now faces Vice President Kamala Harris in an attempt to win a second administration.

Trump would be 82 in November 2028.

The question of age dominated the current presidential race, when Trump, 78, had been set to run against President Joe Biden, 81. Biden exited the race in July, though, heeding calls from fellow Democrats concerned about the octogenarian’s acuity.
